Funny Or Die Merges Trump Presidency With 'The Handmaid's Tale'

Funny Or Die Merges Trump Presidency With 'The Handmaid's Tale' | Hollywood Reporter: "The dystopian television series is blended seamlessly with Donald Trump's words.
Hulu's Handmaid's Tale TV series has often been described as eerily timely, given the current political climate. The book was written back in 1985 and describes a dystopian society for women, many of whom are completely stripped of their rights and forced to bear children for wealthy men and their wives who cannot have biological children of their own.

Funny Or Die took the timeliness of the series to a new level, merging clips from the series with footage of Donald and Melania Trump's interviews. The video shows Elisabeth Moss' character talking about the horrors of being a handmaid and how society fell in the first place. "When they blamed terrorists and suspended the Constitution, we didn't wake up then either," says Moss as images of Trump, Paul Ryan and Mike Pence flash on the screen, as well as footage of immigration officials detaining people."
